Case study DSM-Firmenich

Together with the study association Codon from Wageningen, we organized an interactive case study hosted by DSM-Firmenich! Mickel Jansen (principal scientist in Bioprocess Development) and Wouter van Winden (principal scientist in Bioprocess Technology) told us everything from fermentation technology to enable sustainable production to development of sustainable bioprocesses for health, nutrition, perfumery and cosmetic applications.
DNA repair and Dietary restrictions lecture: Keys to healthy aging

Jan Hoeijmakers heads research teams at the Erasmus Medical Center (Rotterdam), the Princess Maxima Center for Pediatric Oncology (Utrecht), the Oncode Institute (Utrecht) and the CECAD, University of Cologne. He told us everything about DNA damage and repair, discovering that accumulating DNA damage causes systemic aging. The lecture was a big success! Genmab lecture: Unraveling the biomolecular mechanisms behind antibody-based cancer therapies.
